I’ve jumped into bread. I was intimidated by it for a while but with the quarantine, I decided to started with easier recipes and work my way up. Bread flour is scarce so I’ve turned to recipes with all-purpose flour.
This Oatmeal Batter Bread by Linda Larsen, The Spruce Eats, has a nice sweet taste from the added honey. It’s an easy recipe to mix up and pop into a loaf pan.
I love Le Creuset cookware (not sponsored) and am always looking for a chance to use it. This Easy Dutch Oven No Knead Bread from Joy Food Sunshine, was much easier to make than I thought. It requires 18-24 hours to rise so plan accordingly and keep the dough in a nice warm place. Mine did not rise as much as I had liked so next time, I’ll find a warmer place and allow it to rise 24 hours.
